St Etheldreda's Church and the
Crypt Ely Place London
St
Etheldreda's Church Is just a stones throw from the noise and bustle
of modern day London being right next to Hatton Garden. Situated in
Ely Place it offers the peace and tranquillity befitting its
medieval history. St Etheldrda's is the oldest Catholic church
in England and one of only 2 building still remaining in London from
the reign of Edward I.

The Crypt below St. Etheldreda's has
been described as one of London's " Most Magical" Venues.
Dating back to the 12th Century The Crypt has seen some of London's
most celebrated functions, including a grand feast lasting 5 days
and nights for Henry VIII and Catherine of Aragon in 1531. It's
reported they dined on Swans stuffed with larks stuffed with
sparrows.
